Our Story

Mission & Vision

World Campus Connections (WCC) is an international Christian-based campus ministry. WCC’s mission is to enhance the lives of young people through 1) Building Christian Faith, 2) Advancing Life-long Learning, and 3) Promoting Community Service. Thus, the figures in our logo represent our creed, which is Faith, Learning, and Service or in Latin Fidem, Doctrina, and Servitium.

The vision of WCC is to connect campus ministries across twenty (20) identified regions around the world through various virtual and in-person meetings. This network will serve to enhance the lives of high school and college age children and young adults age 14 to 26. Through disseminating the word of God and contributing to individuals’ academic and career success, WCC believes we will produce more productive members of society who are grounded in the Christian faith.

We’ve come to know the founders of WCC as a diligent and forward-thinking couple who keeps their commitments. WCC has assisted our ministry in donating to our Selma, AL tornado relief, partnering with us to conduct and support a student retreat, and demonstrating their alliance through periodic visits and support of our local ministry efforts. Outreach

Because we feel that every young person must understand the importance of ministry and servanthood for the purpose of sharing the gospel, we have identified outreach as a core tenant of WCC. For as the scripture states in Mathew 25:35-36, “for I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.”

Further Mathew 25:40 states, “Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” This is the totality of our work as Christians and it must be a cornerstone of our mission at WCC. We therefore sponsor and promote community outreach of varying types in an effort to meet the needs of our fellow man.

Media

World Campus Connections encourages today’s youth to think critically and engage in contemporary discussions about issues affecting them, with a particular emphasis on building and retaining their Christian faith. Our platform is built on the three foundational pillars of faith, learning, and service, creating a safe and welcoming community for young people to connect. We encourage exploration and introspection on a variety of topics, including relationships, socialization, career development, and more. Along with discussions, WCC offers various resources such as books, music, podcasts, and other media to encourage and inspire young people on their faith journey. By providing a holistic approach to addressing the needs of young people, we aim to make a significant impact in the lives of many and help all students realize their full potential.
